Media Response invites expressions of interest from community FM radio stations based in Aflao, Elubo or Paga to produce and broadcast programmes under the Free Movement and Migration in West Africa project.
Selected stations will deliver one 30-minute broadcast each week for 10 weeks. The programmes will provide a platform for cross-border traders, transport operators and border residents to share their experiences. Border officials will also offer accurate, accessible public education on free movement and migration in West Africa.
Interested stations should submit:
1. A brief station profile, including location, broadcast languages and audience coverage;
2. A proposed approach to the programmes, including how community voices will be featured;
3. Evidence of relevant experience in community engagement or public education broadcasting; and
4. A proposed cost for producing and airing the 10 broadcasts, with the main cost items shown separately.
Media Response will consider each station’s reach within the relevant border community, ability to engage diverse participants, editorial capacity and proposed cost.
